TEST FORMAT

Academic vs General IELTS

Choose the right exam module based on your study abroad or migration objective.

The **IELTS Academic** module is mandatory for university enrollments and professional medical registrations globally. The **IELTS General Training** module is used for migration, visa streams, and secondary school enrollments. Both evaluate Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing skills using a band scale from 1 to 9.

IELTS Test Sections
  • Listening (30 Mins) — 4 audio recordings with 40 questions total.
  • Reading (60 Mins) — 3 long academic texts with 40 comprehension questions.
  • Writing (60 Mins) — Task 1 (data description/graph) + Task 2 (formal essay).
  • Speaking (11-14 Mins) — Face-to-face conversation with an examiner.
