Non-EU students from India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh require a long-stay student visa (Visado de Estudiante, Type D) for studies longer than 90 days. The visa is obtained from the Spanish Embassy in the home country.

• Financial requirement: Students must demonstrate sufficient funds — approximately €600 per month (€7,200 per year) is the commonly cited guideline, though individual consulates may apply different standards.
• Language requirement: B2 Spanish for Spanish-medium programs. IELTS 6.5 for English-medium programs.
